Exciting Updates from Surfers Paradise Demons!
Hey there, Demons fans! We’ve got some fantastic news and updates to share with you all. From training schedules to clubhouse renovations and exciting opportunities for everyone in our community, there’s plenty to be excited about. So, let’s dive right in!
1. Training Updates:
We know many of you have been eagerly waiting to get back into training, and we’re thrilled to announce that we’re finalising the training times with our coaches. Keep an eye on our social channels and our new website for updates on training schedules and information about our amazing coaching staff.
2. Clubhouse Renovations:
It’s been a long time coming, but the wait is finally over! Thanks to the support of Counsellor Patterson, the City of Gold Coast grants, and the incredible efforts of our fundraising initiatives last year, we’re excited to announce that work on our clubhouse is beginning. This includes updates to the roof, electrical systems, and air conditioning. A massive thank you to everyone who contributed to making this happen!
3. Junior Programs
Our volunteer coaches have already kicked off pre-season training with our youth cohort (U13 to U17), and we couldn’t be more grateful for their dedication. For our junior players (U8 to U11), your time will come soon, and we anticipate that all of you will be back by the second week of March at the latest. Check out the training start dates below:
– U8’s: Monday, March 4th
– U9 Mixed: Thursday, March 7th
– U9 Girls: Wednesday, March 6th
– U10 Mixed: Monday, March 4th
– U11 Mixed: Wednesday, March 13th
– U11 Girls: Wednesday, March 6th

4. Auskick
NAB AFL Auskick is back, starting Friday, February 23rd, at Benowa High School. Register now to become a Surfers Paradise Demons Auskicker and enjoy eight weeks of fun-filled sessions!

Mums, ever thought about joining the fun on the field? Now’s your chance! Join the Surfers Paradise Demons Women’s Masters team and learn all about playing in our over 35s division.
