We’re thrilled to welcome back Coach Jade Slater, fondly known as “Powey,” for another season! This year, Powey is teaming up with DMack to Assistant Coach the Under 13 Boys. A seasoned mentor, Powey brings his passion and experience, making him an invaluable asset to the team.

Powey’s journey with Surfers Dees began back in 1997 with the U14s. His talent and dedication saw him rise to the senior ranks at just 16, leaving a strong mark on the field.

Powey has also been part of our Surfers Old Boys, demonstrating his enduring love for the game—a true inspiration for players of all ages.

With eight years of coaching experience, Powey brings expertise, commitment to player growth, and joy for the sport. The Div 1 boys are lucky to have you, Powey, and we can’t wait for another fantastic season under your guidance!
